Trial Policy

Last updated: April 16, 2026  ·  Governing Law: Vietnam

TL;DR

One 14-day trial per device. No credit card required. No strings attached. Trials don't renew or extend automatically.

01. One trial per device

Each device is eligible for one trial only. To enforce this, VanFolio uses an anonymous, non-personally identifiable hardware fingerprint to identify each unique device.

Once a trial has been started on a device, that device is considered to have used its trial. A second trial will not be provided for the same device, even if a different email address is used, a different trial key is entered, or the app is removed and installed again.

02. Trial period

The trial is offered for a limited period, typically 14 days. The trial begins when activated on the user's device. After the trial period ends, access to Pro features will expire automatically. After activation, users can generally access trial features offline, though periodic online validation may be required.

03. No payment method required

Unless VanFolio clearly states otherwise, the trial does not require a credit card or other payment method to begin.

04. What happens when the trial ends

When the trial ends, trial access to paid features ends automatically. The user may choose to upgrade to a paid plan or continue with any free version offered. The end of a trial does not mean the user's documents are deleted solely because the trial has ended.

05. No automatic renewal or extension

Trials do not automatically renew. They are not intended to be restarted, refreshed, or extended as part of normal use. VanFolio is not obligated to provide an extension, a second trial, or a replacement trial.

06. Device changes, reinstallation, and repeat requests

A trial is tied to the original device on which it was first started. The following do not create a new trial:

Since trial history is recorded on our server-side ledger, resetting local data will not grant additional trial time.

07. Exceptional cases

VanFolio may review exceptional cases manually, such as serious hardware failure or other unusual situations. Manual review is discretionary and does not guarantee a new or replacement trial. We may request reasonable information before making a decision.

08. Abuse prevention

VanFolio may apply reasonable measures to prevent trial abuse, misuse, repeated trial claims, or fraudulent use.

VanFolio implements automated mechanisms to detect clock tampering or system time manipulation. If system clock rollback is detected, trial access will be immediately and automatically terminated.

We reserve the right to deny or discontinue trial access if abuse is detected or where eligibility cannot be confirmed.

09. Availability and changes

VanFolio may change, limit, pause, or discontinue the trial program at any time. This includes the right to change trial eligibility rules, duration, or stop offering trials altogether.

10. Support and review

If a user believes a trial decision was made in error, the user may contact VanFolio support for review. Support review does not guarantee a different outcome.

11. Priority of this policy

If there is any conflict between informal statements, marketing copy, FAQ wording, support chat wording, or AI-generated summaries, this Trial Policy controls how the trial is intended to work.
